This month I’m talking with Matt Hanson, who is well known in Australian business circles as the COO and CFO of the Dutton Group, owners of amongst other business’s, Dutton Garage and the Targa tarmac rally series. As a young boy he always had a dream to one day become the Australian Off-Road Champion, a goal he achieved alongside his navigator Leigh Wells.

Matt talks about his love of Off-Road racing and how it’s moulded him into the person he is today. He discusses the challenges associated with the recent COVID outbreak and lockdowns and how it affected him both as a competitor and an event organiser.

We also talk about the future of an event that is very close to my heart, Targa Tasmania.
