This month’s Famous Last Words Podcast is with Adam Kaplin, a very passionate car racer who over the years has competed in many forms of racing in some very special cars.

I first met Adam at the second Targa Tasmania in 1993 and since then we’ve competed against each other for many years. He started off circuit racing in Formula Holden, then moved on to Super Touring, Bathurst 12 hour and Bathurst 1000, whilst also dabbling in ARC Dirt Rally’s, Tarmac Rally’s and more recently desert racing.

Amongst other things, we’ll talk about when I was presenting for the Nine Networks ‘The Car Show’, I was lucky to drive Adam’s Pagani Zonda S Roadster (the only one of its kind in Australia) around Sydney’s northern beaches which gave me some very memorable moments, not all for the right reasons!!

A successful businessman, Adam’s latest passion is flying, and he talks about his recent trip when he took delivery of his new plane in LA in the US and flew it back to Australia via Europe and Asia.
