New Lamborghini Revuelto in Australia

If you’re in the market for a new car and are wanting something a little special, something that would really put your neighbours noses out of joint, you may like to consider Lamborghini’s supercar successor to the Aventador, the hybrid Revuelto.

When I say hybrid, don’t be confused as I’m not talking about a Toyota Prius type hybrid, although the principal is exactly the same, the Lamborghini Revuelto combines a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine with three electric motors to deliver some ridiculous performance numbers just short of a Bugatti Chiron, and is priced at $987,000 plus on-road costs.

I’m sure you get the picture that this car will not be for the vast majority of us, but there is nothing wrong with dreaming and admiring an amazing piece of machinery and technology. In fact, even the website with its QR code to turn on the Lamborghini Augmented Reality experience and the sound track of the hybridization technology is pretty cool – check it out at The new Lamborghini Revuelto.

Obviously the Revuelto is a stunning looking vehicle, and I could bore you with performance figures like a top speed in excess of 350km/h, over 1,000 horsepower, terms like Centro Stile and emissions numbers, but the best way to find out more on this car, is to hear from someone who has driven it. Mike Duff was one of the few lucky international journalists to recently get behind the wheel of a Revuelto for the first time on the Porsche-owned Nardo test track in Italy, and here’s his article from drive.com.au:

Another take on the Revuelto is from the guys off the American television series Throttle House who were also blown away with the car.
