Famous is proud to once again partner with the Pedders Rally Team for the 2026 season, strengthening a long-standing relationship with Pedders and reinforcing the natural synergy between the Famous motoring brand and Pedders’ motorsport program.
For 2026, the Pedders Rally Team has refreshed its campaign with a two-car entry in the Australian Rally Championship (ARC).
Leading the charge once again is experienced rally driver Scott Pedder, alongside co-driver Glenn Macneall, competing in their Skoda Fabia rally car.
Two-Car Attack for the 2026 ARC Season
The team’s program expands this year with the addition of rising rally star Jackson Long, who will pilot the second car in the championship campaign.
Long has quickly built a reputation as one of Australia’s most promising rally talents. In his debut season last year, he secured the ARC Junior Cup title and claimed two WRX Challenge class wins, highlighting his pace and potential within the sport.
The two-car lineup adds further strength to the Pedders Rally Team as it prepares to challenge the leading teams in the national championship.
Maximum Motorsport to Run the 2026 Program
The 2026 campaign will once again be operated by Maximum Motorsport, led by Australian rally champion Dean Herridge in Western Australia. Herridge will take on the role of Team Manager, bringing additional experience and firepower to the team’s championship ambitions.
The team is focused on taking the fight to the dominant Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia rally team throughout the season.
Pedder welcomed both the expanded program and the challenge ahead.
“I would like to think I can still take it to the best in Australia. We had the pace for stage wins last year, and this season Jackson will also push me. It will be great working with him and helping him develop,” said Pedder.
Strong Start at Rally of Bathurst
The team began its season preparation at the Rally of Bathurst in New South Wales on March 14. The event delivered an impressive result for the Pedders Rally Team, with Scott Pedder and Jackson Long finishing first and second overall.
The rally provided valuable competitive stage time ahead of the ARC season, with Long leading part of the event and demonstrating the speed that could challenge Pedder throughout the championship.
