Sunday 16th of February saw Famous have a presence at one of the major car enthusiast events in Canberra hosted by the Council of ACT Motor Clubs.
The CACTMC is made up of approximately 70 motoring clubs in Canberra and their annual ‘Wheels’ show brings between 30 and 40 of those clubs together with a showcase of 600 vehicles on display. The 2025 edition was branded ‘Famous Wheels’ and despite the event not opening to public until 10:30am, over 500 vehicles were in parked up by 9am, the oldest vehicle being a Stanley Steamer that delighted the public with driving demonstrations right through to the latest cars including a brand new BMW M4 Competition, MG Cyberster and a Fiat 500e to cap off the current generation.
Club displays ranged from HSV, Mustang, MX5, Nissan Z, French Car Club, MG Car Club, Lotus Club and many many more that saw something for everyone across the grounds.
The event saw the best club display go to the ‘Z Car Club NSW/ACT’ which features vehicles ranging from Datsun Z’s to the current Nissan Z and runner up was the French Car Club of Canberra. Famous handed an award to an Austin 7 that represented the real life version of Brum from the TV series that captured our imaginations in what was a very hard choice.
You can check out a few pictures below from the day, if you’re a local pencil it in for 2026 as it is a great day out.
