I personally am a very big fan of Environmentally Friendly Vehicles, (EFV’s) which doesn’t necessarily mean just Electric Vehicles (EV’s) as I feel genuine Hydrogen Cell vehicles are the way to go, but that’s a discussion for another day.

Call me old fashioned, but I also hope we don’t completely loose the beauty and sound of a classic V8 petrol engine, so you can understand my dismay when from a traditionalist point of view, I recently read about the all-new electric Rolls-Royce Spectre.

I initially thought it may be just ‘Blah, Blah, Blah’ or a late April Fools joke, but alas as this Carsales article and video featuring Rolls-Royce chief executive Torsten Müller-Ötvös explains, it is happening, and the new Electric Spectre will be released internationally in late 2023.

I am pleased to also hear that Rolls are planning to hold onto and offer to customers, their traditional V12 motor for as long as possible ….. thank God!!
